International Relations

Our program for international relations will guide the Alternative Civil Administration of Sudan in its efforts to safeguard national interests, boost the economy, protect Sudanese citizens abroad, actively engage in regional and international forums, promote democracy and human rights, and combat terrorism and extremism in Africa.

  1. Safeguarding National Interests
  • Strengthening Diplomatic Ties: Forge and maintain robust diplomatic relationships with nations around the world to safeguard Sudan’s national interests and sovereignty.
  • Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator and advocate for peaceful conflict resolution within Sudan and in neighboring regions, emphasizing dialogue and diplomacy.
  1. Promoting Sudanese Economy and Tourism
  • Economic Diplomacy: Engage in economic diplomacy to attract foreign investments, encourage trade, and promote Sudan’s economic growth.
  • Tourism Promotion: Showcase Sudan as a prime tourism destination by highlighting its rich cultural heritage, historical sites, and natural beauty, thereby boosting tourism and international awareness.
  1. Protecting and Serving Sudanese Citizens Abroad
  • Consular Services: Provide efficient and responsive consular services to Sudanese citizens living abroad, ensuring their welfare, legal rights, and protection.
  • Crisis Management: Develop contingency plans for crisis situations, including evacuation and support measures for Sudanese citizens in conflict or disaster-stricken areas.
  1. Active Participation in Regional and International Forums
  • African Engagement: Actively engage in regional and continental forums, with a strong focus on the African Union (AU), to advance Sudan’s interests and contribute to a unified Africa.
  • One African Market: Collaborate with African nations to remove trade barriers, foster economic integration, and work towards the establishment of a borderless African market.
  1. Combating Terrorism and Extremism in Africa
  • Counterterrorism Cooperation: Collaborate closely with regional and international partners to combat terrorism and extremism in Africa, with a particular focus on the Sahel and Horn of Africa regions.
  • Intelligence Sharing: Enhance intelligence-sharing mechanisms to track and counteract terrorist activities while respecting human rights and international law.
  1. Promoting Democracy and Human Rights
  • Democracy Promotion: Advocate for democratic values, transparent governance, and electoral processes that uphold human rights and the rule of law.
  • Human Rights Defenders: Support and collaborate with international organizations to protect human rights defenders and promote accountability for human rights violations.

Our Ministry of Foreign Affairs will ensure that Sudan’s interests are protected and advanced on the global stage. Together, we will strengthen our nation’s position in the international community while contributing to regional and global stability
